ZipCodeLook is a free reference for all 41,705 U.S. zip codes. It covers every state, Washington D.C., the territories and overseas military mail.

A zip code is more than a routing number. It's the unit people use to talk about neighborhoods, compare places to live, plan deliveries and target services. Each zip code page brings together where the zip is, what it looks like on a map and who lives there. Every number is set against the county, the state and the country, so it's easy to tell what makes a place different.

Everything here comes from public sources, mainly the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey. The summaries, comparisons, rankings and “similar zip codes” are calculated from those numbers. Read more about our data sources and methods.
